Skhopper releases House Kwasa album

Keagile Mhele, who trades under the stage name Skhopper of Molepolole, has released a six track album named Skhopper O Utlwile Molao.

In an interview with the 18-year-old musician from Molepolole, he said he loved music from a tender age and that at Standard Seven he was a dancer for one Thuska Gavers.

He said his album was recorded last year by Royal Dawgs and Lifetime Music studios.

The six track album comprises of four house kwasa and two kwaito tracks all sung in Setswana. 

Mhele said with the first track Molao, he challenges the youth to respect their elders as they were often blamed for not respecting their elders. 

He added that for the second and third songs Tsaya Mic and Ka Ikkwalla respectively, the songs were about showing his talent in composing music. 

The last two songs, Re rata Skhopper and Di like-like mo facebook speaks of the love he gets from his fans on social media and the community.

He noted that he considered music as a profession soon after failing his Junior Certificate examinations, adding that should he succeed in music he intends to further his studies. 

He was optimistic that with the album he would conquer the music industry. 

Skhopper said the album would be available in most supermarkets for distribution soon. 

He advised students who wish to pursue music as a career to complete their studies before they start music.  ENDS
