The new kid in the music industry Moemedi Itiseng known to his fans as Deejay Maxonic is a young talented house deejay who focuses mainly on being a vocalist.

The young lad was born and raised in Kanye and aspires to take Botswana high with his amazing talent in house music.

In an interview recently, the house deejay star said he started his music career at the age of 18 where he found himself being addicted to house music mainly deep house.

He said for the love that he had for the music he released his new single called Mogagola which consists of a well known hit Pina Ee which is a song of joy and its video will be in store soon. 

The young star noted that he was inspired by Nutty Nys the Nka Modira hit maker and he always listens to the likes of Black Coffee, Black Motion, Culoe Desong, Bignuz while locally he listens to Dj Kuchi who has been producing good music.

He noted that the current play he receives from radio stations was not enough but most of the time he receives airplay from RB1 and Yarona FM only.

Mogagola single was produced by Rumess Beats, recorded and mastered at Black Jaive Ultimate Sounds. The talented artiste said since it was his first single he has been giving out copies for free to relevant people to enable him to get response from people, adding that it was hard to sell many copies if one was new and unknown in the industry.

In future the young lad will feature on decks fulltime as at the moment he is focused on being one of the best vocalist in house music of Botswana.

Apart from music, DJ Maxonic is a student at Ba Isago University and is currently the minister of entertainment.

He advised upcoming artistes to follow their hearts as music was not something that one just wakes up and do as it was a passion and expensive.

His next project to be dropped this month is dubbed Wrong Impressions with DJ Zoski ft Kelly B. ENDS
