As people brace for the Easter holidays, one young Motswana artist has released a single entitled I Can Testify to celebrate the holidays and get Christians in the mood for song and dance.

Already with an album under his belt, 28-year-old Moarabi Mushimehi aka The Preacher Boy said in an interview that the single is a teaser to his second album which he hopes to drop during Botswana’s independence month.

“My first album was titled Testimony: Chapter 1 and the second album will be the 2nd chapter,” he said.

He indicated that his type of music is contemporary gospel with influences from Hip-Hop and RnB.

“I am all about positive messages and I feel my music reflects that,” he said, adding that the vocals for his latest single were mastered at Drumsonic Studios and the sound at Sound Card Productions.

The single has a catchy sound to it and has the influence of the famous auto tune to it as well.

Also, the lyrics are easy to the ear and one cannot be at fault to think it is a club song.

On being quizzed where people can get hold of his single, The Preacher Boy indicated that he was not selling it, but rather using it as promotion to his upcoming album to be released in September.

“For now people will hear it on radio and they should wait for the album, and I promise they will not be disappointed with my work,” he concluded. Ends
