Two persons accused in the murder of former chief executive officer of Fairgrounds Holding Mr Michael Montshiwa are scheduled to mention the same time with another accused whose mention has been scheduled for May 25, 2016.

The prosecutor in the matter Mr Ernest Mosate from the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) told Gaborone Village Senior Magistrate Mr Ike Raphael on Thursday during brief appearance of Bampoloki Seeiso and Tumelo Tshukudu that it would be ideal for the duo to appear the same day with Modise David.

The two cases are running parallel to each other though the accused in the cases are implicated for the death of the same person. The court at the same time is burdened with the duty to hear almost similar version on the progress of the case when the two cases mention separately.

David appeared before the same court on Tuesday and likewise in the latest mention the prosecutor said investigations in the matter are progressing satisfactorily though he was not in a position to hint more on what they have achieved so far.Mr Mosate said the court will be proficiently updated in the next mention. 

He told the court that defence lawyer wanted to propose for the variation of bail conditions to allow for the second accused to report at Gaborone West Police Station while the first accused will continue reporting at Broadhurst Police Station. Defence attorney Mr Enock Mazonde concurred with the set date of mention.  The twosome and David are charged for the death of Montshiwa which happened on October 18, 2015 at his residence in Block 6, Gaborone. David is also facing a single count of stealing by agent Ends
