Young man commits suicide

A 21-year-old Kasane man was found hanging from a tree on the outskirts of Kgaphamadi on Thursday.
Kasane police's Assistant Superintendent Dipheko Letamo said though investigations were still ongoing the young man was last seen around 4 am at his parent’s house, a few hours before he was found dead. The deceased’s parents, he said, had been informed and also had identified the body.
“We do not know the reasons for his action because he did not leave a suicide note and his parents did not recognise any unfamiliar behaviour before the incident,” he added.
Assistant Superintendent Letamo advised people to open up about their challenges, adding that ending one’s life should not be an option. Ends
