Local gospel music personality, Kabelo Eric is set to perform at God is Love conference to be held in Ramotswa on Friday night.

The interdenominational conference which will be held at Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) auditorium in Ramotswa will bring together artistes such as Wise Man Pat, Tacheba Christian Rock Band, Urban Worship House and Anthony T among others.

The organiser and founder of the event, Anthony Mmelesane in an interview said the interreligious conference will be used to raise funds for the needy and underprivileged society members.

“The conference is organised by youth and elders who are there will only provide guidance,” added Mmelesane who is also a gospel artiste.

He said their target is also to reach out to the youth and illustrate God’s love through giving, adding that giving is also part of evangelising.

Furthermore, he said the conference also aims at giving upcoming gospel artistes an opportunity to showcase their talents as well as share stage with some of the established artistes like Kabelo Eric.

Through these interactions, Mmelesane said he was hopeful that the artistes are able to learn from each other and grow in their profession. 

He said the non-profit making event was initially held in Mahalapye last year adding that they are working on holding other events in Molepolole, Mahalapye and Gaborone.

The Ramotswa -born artiste said that the event is organised by a group of young people from various churches who came together to show the love of God.

The conference attendants will also have a dose of spiritual games which aims to help them grow in their Christian life.

According to Mmelesane, about 16 gospel musicians will participate in the event adding that they are extending invitations to all churches in the village. Ends
