Police in Gweta are investigating a case of unlawful wounding in which the victim had to be transferred from Gweta Primary hospital to Letsholathebe II Memorial Hospital in Maun recently.
The Station Commander Superintendent Nelson Museke said in an interview with BOPA that the victim, a man aged 25 years, was stabbed with a sharp object by the accused man aged 29 who is still helping the police with the investigations.
The victim, he said is currently in a stable condition at the hospital. According to the investigations, the two had a misunderstanding at a beer hall, where they had a fight, which led to the other party being sent to the hospital.
He appealed to the public that whenever they have misunderstandings, they should report such issues to the police instead of taking the law unto their own hands. Ends
