Sekoma bye-election March 5

The Minister of Local Government and Rural Development has issued an election instrument in accordance with section 154 (2) of the Electoral Act, (Cap.02:09), ordering the holding of a by-election of council member for Sekoma polling district in the Jwaneng-Mabutsane constituency.
A press release from the IEC says Mr Slumber Tsogwane directed that nominations of candidates for election in the said polling district be received in February 12 between 9am to 1pm and 2:30pm to 5:00pm at Sekoma Primary School.
Any poll, which may become necessary, shall be taken on March 5. Ends
