Masa Primary School burglars still at large

Gaborone West Police Station Commander, Superintendent Agreement Mapeu has confirmed that nobody has been apprehended for burglary and stealing from Masa Primary School administration office.
Superintendent Mapeu confirmed this on Wednesday following an emergency Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) meeting which was held at the school on Tuesday. Parents were briefed of the development which has adversely affected the financial status of the school.
Close to 300 parents who attended the emergency meeting were informed by the school authorities that their administration block was broken into between the night of January 8 and the morning of January 9, where cash amounting to P9 430 hidden in the office was stolen.
The PTA committee and the school head teacher told the parents that the money was supposed to have been banked on Friday 8, but that a member of the committee who reconciled the whole cash which was made of money from Standard One pupils development fees and photocopying fees including other fees from transfer-ins, could not do it as it was already late in the day.
The intention was to bank the money on Monday. Curiously the burglars who broke into the office only took the money and left valuable equipment such as computers, lap tops and projector
