Moshupa police investigate unlawful wounding cases

Police in Moshupa are investigating four cases of serious unlawful wounding, assault occasioning bodily harm and rape case.
The cases were recorded in Moshupa and Manyana during the Christmas Eve.
Moshupa station commander, Superintendent Oreneetse Gagosha, said a 25-year-old man was stabbed with a sharp instrument at one of the bars at Marumo ward in Moshupa. He was rushed to Mmaseetsele clinic in Moshupa in a bad condition where he was referred to Kanye Seventh Day Adventist Hospital (KSDA).
Four suspects were arrested. In another incident at Diboto ward, a 24-year-old was stabbed with a sharp object after a fight over a girlfriend.
At Molomoojang settlement, few kilometers from Moshupa, a 39-year-old man stabbed his girlfriend with a knife on the thighs. At Madibamantswe lands, a 17-year-old stabbed his uncle following a misunderstanding.
In Manyana, Superintendent said a 17-year-old girl was raped on the way from the bars midnight, nobody was arrested and police investigations continue.
He also said they had registered seven cases of people who were robbed cell phones and money during Dladleng Festival Show in Moshupa on the Christmas Eve.
Meanwhile, three babies (two girls and a boy) were born at Kanye Seventh Day Hospital on December 25. Ends
