Police arrest five following Molepolole riots

Police have arrested five people following a riot in Molepolole yesterday (December 17).
The angry mob caused damage at Highgate Shopping Complex and Kemotse Bar.
Molepolole acting station commander, Asistant Superintendent Gontse Segale, said in an interview that the five men were aged between 32 and 41.
Some of them, ASP Segale said, were arrested for burning tyres at or around Fountain Plaza while one was found with a carton of Simba Chips and several coins around Highgate Complex.
The police linked the riot to an earlier court appearance of five men suspected to have killed Ms Nthabiseng Motlogelwa in October at Mpadithate Lands near Mogonono settlement. Ends
