This year’s Mascom Live Sessions will culminate in style at the Botswanacraft on Friday (December 18).

The much anticipated event which comes at the most exciting time of the year, the festive season, will feature Zahara, Fresh Lesokwane and Robbie Rob.

 Zahara, the acoustic guitarist, singer-songwriter and poet will not be performing at the Mascom Live Sessions for the first time as she also concluded the 2013 Mascom Live Sessions.

She is known for her song Loliwe which gained instant popularity when it was released in 2012. Her first album sold out in only 72 hours. 

She has also established a huge fan base in Botswana. The first 2015 Mascom Live Sessions started on a high note with high profile musicians such as Hugh Masekela and Socca Moruakgomo. 

These sessions are held throughout the year and have become some of the exciting events in Botswanacraft’s calendar while they create an opportunity for local talents to get exposure to a growing market. 

They started in 2011 and to date Botswanacraft has hosted high profile artists, the likes of Hugh Masekela, Oliver Mutukudzi, Ringo Madlingozi, Salif Keita, Thomas Mapfumo, Banjo Mosele, Shanti Lo, Micassa, Lira, Celtic Fusion and Bhudaza among others.  Ends
