Three-year old dies in accident

Mochudi police are investigating an accident, which claimed the lives of a three-year-old child and a 67-year-old man.
In an interview, Mochudi police station commander, Superintendent Olebile Sitale, said the accident occurred a few kilometers from Artesia in the Kgatleng District on Sunday (December 13).
The accident involved a minibus, which was carrying 13 passengers. He said the mini-bus had a tyre burst and the driver lost control.
Four people were admitted at Princess Marina Hospital, five at Deborah Retief Memorial Hospital and one at Gaborone Private Hospital.
The police encouraged owners of imported vehicles to always put tyres that could withstand the country’s hot weather conditions. Ends
