Little Miss World comes to Botswana

Young girls from Botswana will get a chance to take part in the Little Miss World- Botswana pageant to be held at GICC.
The winner will fight it out with peers in Turkey in September 2016 for the world title.
At a young age Tebogo Lebanna has achieved a lot in exposing young girls to international pageants and making their dreams come true.
Recently the youthful and talented lady who has a great passion for pageants, produced a world princess in June 2015 in Georgia-Russia, where one of Botswana young girls Wame Baleseng scooped first Princess in an international competition where three African Countries Botswana, South Africa and Nigeria took part.
Baleseng scooped first princess out of the 38 contestants lifting Botswana flag high.
In an interview, Lebanna said she strongly believes that she can scoop the world crown again as she did it in Georgia being the youngest director of a pageant coming from Botswana.
She started being in the pageant industry at the age of 13 after being inspired by her junior school English teacher and she grew up being passionate about being on a world stage but because her dream did not come true she is now passing the passion on to children by mentoring and coaching them for the international stage as she never got that opportunity.
She said after successfully organising Little Miss Universe in March 2015 that was held at Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC), she believed in herself more by turning Botswana children dreams into reality by extracting raw talent.
The youngest director said she came up with the pageant as she strongly believes that children parade confidently on their own sky and they seem attractive and innocent.
She said seeing the children doing well puts a smile on her face as Little Miss World pageant fell into her hands. The pageant was established in 2000 with the aim of forming a new nation of talented, educated, friendly children and the grand finale will be held in Turkey in September 2016.
The youthful leader is a student at Botswana Accountancy College and she is not only focused in her passion alone but also passionate about her school and studies which she takes seriously and manages to balance the two well, she is currently pursuing BA (Hons) Business Enterprise.
One of her dreams is to become a United Nations ambassador as she strongly believes her dreams will turn into reality because she is one person who believes nothing is impossible in the world that she has been given to live in.
At a young age she is the current director of Princess of the World pageant which is an international pageant for children who are between 10 and 14 years which is mainly aimed to promote culture, tourism, friendship among children as well as upbringing talented generation into the beauty industry.
Little Miss World will be held on December 6, 2015 . The winner will represent Botswana in Europe with 84 other winners from across the globe. Ends
