Copperfield releases single track Bambezela

After his first eight track album entitled Proverbs Volume 1 that was released last year struggled to win a 'fan favorite' tag, Alphious Ditsela never looked back but rather tightened his belt and lubricated his passion for house music by continuously performing week in and week out at different events and gatherings to sharpen his skills. Ditsela is affectionately known to his hordes of fans in the entertainment industry as DJ Copperfield.
It is not surprising at that shortly after his first album, DJ Copperfield is here knocking again with a single track titled Bambezela. This single was dropped last month and has already made its mark in the market.
When asked about the meaning of the title, he just smiled and said, “Bambezela is a Zulu word that translates to mean continuation. As the name suggests, we have decided to continue from where we stopped last year.”
He pointed out that the main reason why he chose a different language was that he wanted to give other listeners who are non-Batswana especially South Africans an opportunity to enjoy his music to the fullest as there will be no language barrier. According to him, this will obviously increase his chances of growing as an international DJ.
He said house music originates from Durban, South Africa. Therefore, he said it is an honour for him to give back to the community that made it possible for “most of us.”
DJ Copperfield further said that there is no doubt that South-Africa is a few steps ahead in terms of producing musicians of repute.''So starting from their base is surely a step in the right direction,” he highlighted.
DJ Copperfield said that due to the fact that his first album did not live up to expectation, there was a need for swift action to take care of the situation.
That is why he decided to drop a single while still preparing something more special, cool and mesmerising for the audience. Copperfield further stated that this single track will be included among the 10 tracks that are earmarked for end of January next year.
Even though he declined to mention the title of the album, he promised Batswana to expect a fire brand piece of work that he believes would be more tasteful than his first album.
“The fans must expect nothing less than classic in those tracks. We have been working very hard to get the best for them” the 34 year old Seleka born who resides in Mogoditshane said. Ends
