Association seeks to build marriages

After realising the challenges faced by the marriage institution, married women from different parts of the country gathered in Tamasane to launch an association for married women.
Dingwetsi Association was formed in 2011 with the aim to help build strong marriages and do away with divorce.
The society's chairperson, Grace Silver said during launch at over the weekend that the association was formed to bring an understanding of marriage to newly married women and empower them on how to avert poverty by starting small businesses.
Silver said the association intended to organise workshops to teach the youth on the importance of family as well as train society on how to take care of their respective families. BOPA
