The Mood back with Module 1

If you are a loyal Hip Hop fanatic, certainly you are in for a treat given Moatlhodi Kgwatalala aka The Mood’s latest release, dubbed Module 1. Although The Mood has just dropped his debut album, he is not a new name to music enthusiasts as the artist has been in the music industry for five years.
The Mood’s four tracked Hip-Hop Motswako album displays his experience in the music scene.
It is well composed, arranged and the songs are not only entertaining but heavily messaged. The album kicks off with a track titled Module 1, that encourages talented youth to stand up and better their lives. The album entails other informative tracks such as Ke a ikepela, Skyboy and My music.
The album was composed and produced by The Mood together with Angel and it was recorded at Angel Studio INC in Gaborone.
In an interview, the 19 -year-old Francistown born musician related that his music career started in 2010. His big inspiration into the music industry comes from charismatic, seasoned Hip Hop artist ATI and South African artist Casper Nyovest of Doc Shebeleza fame.
The Mood said most of ATI’s creations have received awe-inspiring response from his fans.
The musician said for their industry to grow, Batswana have to support them. Although he is doing music full time, The Mood also performances at parties, weddings and baby showers.
His dream is to go international and form part of international line ups. He said although their industry is viable, piracy remains a challenge, something that is a setback to their growth. Ends
