Orange raises funds for Kagiso senior school

Orange Botswana, on Friday, hosted Zumba and autograph session to raise funds for Kagiso Senior Secondary School. Orange public relations manager, Boga Chilinde-Masebu said the initiative was part of their initiatives to give back to the community.
She said employees proposed the Zumba and autograph session after visiting the school and realising some decline in its results.
She said they would ensure that funds collected would be channeled towards buying the school some equipment which included a printer, library books and notice board.
Furthermore, she said they would spend the whole week at the school where they would carry out some activities such as educational games, information, communication and technology training, quiz and career fair.
She highlighted that it was important for students to have ICT skills because it would be beneficial to them in future and thus encouraged them to the internet responsibly.
The Zumba and autograph session included hip hop sensations like SCAR and Dramaboi who took part in the activity as a way of attracting the public. Ends
