A Maun business woman, Hanna Lecha and US author, Kimberly Pitts have co-authored a book titled: Behind Her Brand (Expert edition). The book launch is expected in Francistown and Plano, USA on October 27.
Lecha said she received the offer to co-author the book in May this year from Pitts. The book series, she said, were designed to help women entrepreneurs to communicate their brand story.
“Behind Her Brand, is the brainchild of Pitts, founder of UImpact where she helps women entrepreneurs play big through her premier training programs,” she said.
The book depicts a journey of lessons, obstacles, disappointments and victories that women go through when building their businesses.
Although the book would the first to be published in her name, Lecha said she always had a passion for writing and had many unpublished manuscripts and journals. She co-authored another book on healthy eating with a South African author, which was awaiting publication.
The Behind her Brand book, she said, had a summary of who she was and her role in helping women entrepreneurs.
Meanwhile, Lecha said her annual simulcast conference LIVE2LEAD hosted globally by the John Maxwell Team members will be in Francistown on October 27 and in Maun on November 4.
Her company, Leadership Nurturing, hosted the inaugural LEARN-LEAD in Francistown and Maun last year.
She said Leadership Nurturing helped individuals and organisations to maximise their potential through coaching, keynote speaking and retreat.
She added that as a speaker and trainer with the John Maxwell Team and a member of the International Association of Women in Business Coaching, her passion was to help people move past their fears, limitations and to get guidance and support to achieve their desired personal and professional goals.
“I am passionate about the rehabilitation of ex-convicts, I support prisoners and ex-convicts to move past what brought them to prison, discover their purpose and re-invent themselves,” she added. Ends
