Mareledi Youth 2015 Competition

In an effort to enrich people financially, Maraledi Youth Association in partnership with Paper Chaser organised a competition to financially boost contenders. The competition which was open to all local mobile networks via SMS, saw Ms Khutsafalo Sebobi of Gaborone stand tall among other two finalists contending for the same grand price of P150 000.
In a brief interview, Ms Sebobi said wining was going to change her life for the better. Even though she said she was a full time employee, she has been going through thick and thin financially.
She said with the P150 000, she would be able to complete all the basic necessity such as installation of electricity among others. The duo which made up the three finalists, Mr Jobe Motladile and Ms Ednah Bontsi also pocketed P5 000 each.
The principal officer at Paper Chaser, Mr Batho Motubudi said the competition which was open to all telecommunication networks dubbed ‘paper chaser’ comprised of three categories.
He said there was a category whereby every week one winner walked away with P2 000. Mr Motubudi also noted that there was a category where every month a winner walked away P25 000, and the biggest of all prices being the P150 000.
He noted that it was not the last prize to be won, stating that the other grand price was schedule for December.
The chairperson of Mareledi Youth Association said his association’s mandate was to instill financial literacy on youths. He said they want the youth to understanding how to use money wisely to avoid unnecessary debts. Ends
