Wind Storm Records (WSR) is located in Letsibogo Ward in Letlhakane. The owner of the stable who is also an artist, Kelebogile Bojosi (33) otherwise known as Kellybeats, said his love for music started in 2003 while he was a primary school pupil.

The young man, who draws inspiration from Evans Modubule aka Mr Tagg, said in an interview that he started performing whilst doing form 1 at Ditsweletse Community Junior School talent shows.

Bojosi’s first and only album was released in October 2014. the afro-pop album entitled Nna le Wena features Tshepo Gabolwelwe aka Kesha and has 11 songs.

Bojosi said that his songs were an encouragement to married couples to stay strong in their marriage. The title of the album; Nna le Wena showed that marriage was for two people only. He said marriage came with responsibilities and that married couples should not break up every time they have misunderstandings.

At the moment, Bojosi points out that he had volunteered to perform in different events.

The artist pointed out that so far the album sales had not reached his target number but he blamed poor marketing strategies as one of the causes. Although he did not make it to the finals, Kellybeats stated that he entered the President’s Day Competitions in 2013.

The album is not yet available in stores but it could be obtained from the Wind Storm Records Studio.  Bojosi further said that the album has been submitted to both Radio Botswana and RB2. He mentioned lack of equipment and travel costs as one of the challenges he faced as he travelled to Gaborone to cut the CD and master songs  

He said they also had challenges of finance which could help them sustain their music career. 

Batswana , he said, looked down on local artists and prefer artists from other countries. In the near future, Bojosi hopes to own a fully- fledged studio with quality equipment. His dream is to give back to the community by producing young and upcoming artists and to nature Boteti talent. Ends
