Justice Annah Mathiba of the Industrial Court has implored contestants of Miss Serowe Administration Authority (SAA) RADP to infuse their life with action.

Speaking at Miss SAA- RADP beauty pageant on Saturday night (September 5), Justice Mathiba said participants they should not wait for action to happen, but they must make it happen and should not let their history interfere with their destiny. She said they should grow miracles out of their difficulties and should realise that they were born to win.

“But to win you must plan to win, prepare to win and expect to win,” she said citing Zig Ziglar.

Justice Mathiba urged them to look at the success in serving their communities with diligence and undeterred determination. She challenged them to be honest and faithful to their calling and to reap rewards of their labour. She further stated that faithfulness to ones’ calling and prudence brings joy, gladness and true blessing no matter circumstances.

“As you celebrate your beauty, aim to soar higher like an angle so to elevate your standards of living. Become a vessel whose talent will be pleasing to others and will desire to emulate.”

Chairperson of community development and social services committee, Solomon Dikgang, stated that the people engaged to dress the contestants did a substandard work saying that some dresses did not fit well, making the contestants uncomfortable.

The 19-year-old, Kemelo Thuwe of Majwanaadipitse was crowned the queen, while Kebonye Raphate of Dimajwe and Regina Keaphuthile of Sehunou emerged first princess and second princess respectively.One of the pageant judges, One Mariri, said the contestants displayed a great performance though they still needed some training and grooming.

Mariri said the contestants were confortable on heels and were confident on stage. The three winners will compete for the Miss CDC- RADP title at Mahalapye on September 19. Ends
