Mochudi Police are investigating a suicide incident in which a 25-year-old man of Manamakgotle ward in Mochudi hanged himself last week .

In an interview, Assistant Supt Wazha Zambezi said the man was found by a woman who was passing by at Dinkgwana lands near the agriculture showground and immediately reported the matter to the police.

He said upon arrival the police found out that his body was badly decomposed and pathologists were called to the scene to carry out the post-mortem.

Assistant Supt Zambezi said his family were notified and the body was handed to them.

He reported that the family members said they have been looking for the deceased and thought he was visiting his friends in the village.

In another incident, a 36-year-old man of Pilane sustained serious head injuries after he was hit by a car when crossing the road near Borejane in Pilane.

The man was rushed to Deborah Retief Memorial Hospital where he was certified dead upon arrival. Ends
