Sekuta sa ga Charma Gal goes big

Charma Gal of Ekentolo is back with a bang, the sassy songstress has released a banging eight track Album titled Ekentolo Vol.6 Sekuta sa ga Charma.


The album is already raving in radio stations across the country, from Molapo Piaza to Trekkers Night club, and all bars everyone is singing sekuta saga Charma gal.

Produced and mastered all songs by the iron lady herself Magdeline Lesolebe also known as Charma Gal, Douzer, Mc Walkman Touch the album is raving across the entertainment circles the whole country.


In addition Rhythm and Lead of track 5 Skheba-shane was composed at Touch Recording, featuring Uncle Ocean Gal and Oil Basebi, and Raletsatsi Samurai and Ndingo Shabane.


Mosepele wa Lerato is the intro track followed by A1 which signifies a message of Ipabalelo Tseleng, it encourages all motorists and pedestrians to be cautious on the road, the chorus sings “Cheka ditire, cheka dipone, letshwao lengwe le lengwe le botlhokwa”.


As the songstress mostly depicts life problems such as, love, alcohol abuse and road accidents, fallen relationships and divorce the lady went all out in the album to spread messages that affect the modern day youth through the art of music.


“Ga re a tla go dika mono, re sharpa sekuta, sekuta, sekuta sekuta saga Charma gal” is the chorus of the number one hit, track number 3 sekuta saga Charma Gal.


The song has caused much controversy among local musicians, listeners and the public at large, people judge it by the message it spreads about a fallen relationship, as there is a stanza saying, “Kare Saulo o Mpogisetang”, but Charma Gal denied the allegation simply stating that it is purely music. 



Also the group dedicated a song to their fans, track 6 titled Baletedi ba Ekentolo to thank their fans for all the support for the past 5 albums including their latest album, it even has a nursery rhythm of “rain! rain! go away, little Charmer wants to play”, to appeal to most audiences including the young girls and boys. 


In most entertainments spots and locations in Gaborone loyal fans have even invented the dance move to the song sekuta saga Charma Gal, using their hands to depict the movement and motion of the motor bike which she calls sekuta.


Charma Gal stated that she is back again with a bang and it was not an easy journey to produce Ekentolo Vol. 6, she said she would like to thank God, their families and friends as a group and the media for their support. 


She urged her fans to keep supporting them and promised not to disappoint. The album has already  touched the shores of South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia. Ends
