It has been a while without hearing from renowned Botswana gospel artist, Vusi Mtokufa, but it seems he is making a great come back.

He was popular during his hey days as one of the youngest gospel artists the country had ever produced, but unfortunately in 2009, he found himself behind bars facing murder charges.

The then promising artist was later discharged and acquitted of the murder charges, but the incident probably affected his career in terms of sales.

Despite what Vusi went through, he was not a type to despair. Therefore, July 3 saw him back with a CD and DVD live recording at the Gaborone International Convention Center (GICC).

In a fancy setup, the live recording was done by a professional production company, Brave Heart which has an extensive inventory of the latest audio equipment, professional lighting equipment and state of the art video equipment.

Surely, Vusi is trying to get his career back on track, given the quality and professionalism that prevailed at the recording of the CD and DVD.

As for the DVD, he recorded some of the songs from his previous albums while he also recorded new songs for his upcoming CD. 

A total of 14 songs were recorded live on that night, while the title and release date of the album had not been set yet.

The young man has not lost it; he still has that voice that makes a good song and also the relevant messages in his songs. 

With his latest product, people should expect nothing but top notch music piece. ENDS
