22 Jun 2015
Tati Town police are appealing to members of the public to assist in arresting suspects in the murder of Ms Winnet Chirunga.
Station commander, Superintendent Cyprian Magalela, said in an interview that investigations were still on-going and that no one had been arrested in the Chadibe murder.
Meanwhile, Kutlwano police station commander, Superintendent David Ramoseki said they were also investigating a case in which a student in Francistown was murdered while another was injured.
He said the middle aged man died at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital after he was stabbed with a sharp object on his left arm while another one was hit by a hard object on the eye. He said the injured one was admitted and released from hospital the following morning.
Superintendent Ramoseki is appealing to the public to assist them with any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.
He advised people to always use properly lit streets at night and avoid small paths because they were dangerous places.Ends
