02 Jun 2015

Lobatse MP, Sadique Kebonang celebrated his successful bidding for political office in the 2014 general elections in style by throwing a music festival for his constituents.

All the 12 wards were treated to a bubbly musical show.  Kebonang said the music festival was a token of appreciation to his constituents for voting him as their political representative.

Also, assistant minister of trade and industry, he said he was often engaged on national duties including in the international arena; therefore he urged the constituents to work collaboratively with the 12 councillors and the constituency office to convey their appeals to him.

The show featured a host of artists in the likes of Khaya’s, Silindile, Patricia Majalisa, Charma Gal, Vee and Amakubuki. With such an electrifying lineup, the constituents indulged themselves in breathtaking performances and kept vying for some more performances.

The revelers could not get enough of Charma Gal’s songs more especially the Tlhatswa lesire hit that took the young and the old by storm as they could not stop shouting for more.

While still on jovial mood, Vee Mampezzy came forth and set the stage on fire when he appeared in a grand entrance as his dancers got onto stage through the roof leaving revelers perplexed.

They screamed high to welcome the king of kwaito on stage and he did not disappoint as he dished his first album songs such as Taku Taku.

He went on impressing the revelers and broke them to the last straw when he performed his gospel piece titled Baba. As the night was slowly creeping in Patricia Majalisa came last to close down the show.

The queen of splash came with blazing guns to thrill revelers. The splash lovers could not hide their excitement as danced the chilly night away. ENDS
