Sesike mentions June 22

26 May 2015

Prosecutor in the Matshidiso Sesike murder case has informed the Village Magistrate Court that a pathologist has written an affidavit supporting his findings.

Inspector Modironyana Lekone of Sir Seretse Khama Airport Police Station (SSKA) said investigations on the case were coming to conclusion and the file will soon be forwarded to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for assessment.

Sesike was accused of stabbing to death her boyfriend, Kabelo Louw, of Ramatlabama in Mmopane last year. The couple reportedly had a misunderstanding, which led to the woman stabbing the man with a sharp instrument.

Sesike, who was heavily pregnant at the time, was briefly detained before being granted bail.

She has since given birth to a baby boy. She told the court that she had nothing to say when she was asked whether she had anything to say before the court. Her next mention will be on June 22. ends
