10 May 2015

Multitudes flocked BotswanaCraft in Gaborone to celebrate the Orange Letlhafula day over the weekend.

The event was a celebration of culture, a time of remembering heritage and a day of feasting on a variety of traditional foods, drinks and snacks, while enjoying live music and traditional dance.

On arrival, attendants were treated to a variety of snacks ranging from wild fruits to ground nuts, among other things. People never ran out of something to eat or keep them busy before lunch time.

With over 30 pots, each with their own chef, Letlhafula was a day to discover and taste amazing traditional dishes.

The festival is growing bigger every year and organisers introduce a new dish in every edition. Alongside the food element, various forms of cultural entertainment were on offer including games, music and poetry. Ends
