The multi-talented Dj Gouveiya is scheduled to thrill Ghanzi residents at an event dubbed Summer Send Off party. The gig which is scheduled for March 27 at Ghanzi community hall is organised by the duo of Langie Segopolo and Lebogang Lesole.

Other Djs in the line-up are Dj Unanimous and local Dj PMaster with MC Chakarowski. Dj Gouveiya who has been in the industry for years, noted that although the two ladies are first timers in the industry, he has faith in them and pledged to fully support them.

He said to him it is all about fresh ideas and new things, hence the need to support the Summer Send Off party that is the brainchild of the ladies. He urged all to come and witness his performance as he will be sampling some of his new material to his fans. He also said he will be bringing in a group of dancers as he will be on the ones and twos as well as performing on stage with his dancers.

The Summer Send Off party, Dj Gouveiya who is also a performing artist said it will also be an opportunity for upcoming artists to mingle with him and give him feedback on his performance. He also said he hopes to interact with upcoming artists and share knowledge and skills to them.

Meanwhile, Segopolo noted in an interview that they saw a gap in Ghanzi in terms of entertainment despite the township having potential for growth in that sector which can eventually bring in job creation to the people of Ghanzi.

She said they plan to expand their brand to other entertainment events along fashion and cultural events. With the Ghanzi agricultural show which is the only event that pulls multitudes to the district, Segopolo said they saw the need to conceptualise their idea of an event which they plan to host every year along with other events in Ghanzi spearheaded by their colleagues in the showbiz industry.
