The audience at the recent Central District Exposition were left wanting more after an awesome performance from a young musician.

Tshenolo Mojaboswa, born in Mahalapye in 1980 and grew up in Serowe, is popularly known as Big Tee.

The Afro-Pop artist recently released album titled Lorato. He performed two songs from this album at the exposition, being the title track Lorato and later on served the audience with yet another song from this album called Kegorogile. Big Tee’s Kegorogile track announces his entrance as a solo artist in the music industry.

Mojaboswa, however, is not new in the industry.  He started way back as a little boy aged only 12 years when he used to lead praise in the school assembly at primary level.

He then continued as he went into higher learning by joining school choirs at both junior and senior secondary level where his vocal capabilities were explored. Later on he joined the KTM choir.

Still in his music journey, he worked with other local artists like Botswana’s finest jazz artist Nnunu. Big Tee is as versatile as they come.  He is also a music promoter, working with young upcoming artists.

He is also within the Botswana Music Union (BOMU) as an additional member of the executive committee. Furthermore he, is the chairperson of the union in the Central District.

He also proudly boasts of having adjudicated in different constituency competitions under the Office of the President.  His advice to the youth and everybody out there is that anything is possible through handwork and persistence.

“I managed to achieve all this through hard work and perseverance, and I know for sure that it pays,” he said. ENDS
