A Tonota beauty, Inalentle Kefhithilwe has been crowned Miss 411 in a hotly contested, unique and glamorous beauty contest that saw nine ladies glitz around a swimming pool at Shashe Bridge to battle for the crown on January 2.
The 19-year-old Kefhithilwe mesmerised the judges with her catwalk, eloquent answers and alluring smiles during the unique event, which was organized by Mompoloki Kgaje, the manager of 411 shopping complex and was sponsored by Distill Expectation and Bob Bliss.
She won herself a return flight ticket from Gaborone to Johannesburg and a two-nights paid accommodation.
Kefhithilwe did not just easily beat her competitors as she faced a tough competition from her home girl, 19-year-old Laone Mpolokang, who was equally glamorous and determined to showcase her modeling skills and intellectuality.
Mpolokang scooped the 1st princess position and a return flight ticket from Francistown to Gaborone and two nights paid accommodation.
A 20-year-old Rebecca Morake, who represented the host village, separated herself from the rest of the ladies and got the 2nd princess position.
She won a return road ticket from Francistown to Kasane with a paid two days accommodation.
However other ladies did not go home empty handed as they all received consolation prices, amongst them hair dressing accessories.
The event that was nearly disturbed by the rainy weather brought together youth from Francistown and its outskirts.
The organisers intend to make it an annual event, something that will see Shashe Bridge residents looking forward to the glamour and glitz every year. ENDS
