Police investigate rape at Mabuo

Serowe Police are investigating two incidents of rape which took place on December 30 and January 1.
Serowe station commander, Superintendent, Patrick Mbikiwa said in one of the cases a 20-year- old suspect allegedly dragged the victim away from a group of people before raping her at Lebile ward at Mabuo.
Another incident was recorded at Robala cattle post.
Mr Mbikiwa said they also registered an arson incident at Patwe near Paje on the New Year’s day. He said the suspect aged 34, who is still on the run burnt a hut after his girlfriend, 26 failed to open for him.
Supt. Mbikiwa also said they recorded three break-in incidents at various places one of which was at Agri-Feed where cash amounting to P2 150 was stolen. ENDS
