Skull t-shirts December swag
18 Dec 2014
Skulls have always been something of a popular decoration, having been used since medieval times and before as sacred items.
If you are the gothic type and looking for the street chick look this festive season, a black, white or colourful skull t-shirt will be an ideal piece of clothing. The look is embodied by a plain skull t-shirt, that depicts a human skull on a plain background that is eddy and fresh.
Influenced by gothic culture and punk rock, Waabo Anwar started this clothing label barely a month ago. She stated that as a painter and fine art artist, the design has always been her passion; as she dresses herself with stylish and unique pieces in her wardrobe.
The skull t-shirt is an edgy tee that one has to put a sting top or a vest under with a pair of jeans, leggings, or a mini skirt. The sizes range from medium to extra-large so that it becomes loose and effortless on your body.
Hardly three weeks, since the production of the t-shirts, Anwar said she is doing the designs in small numbers to test the market but due to the demand, she believes people will daze them and turn them into the December swag.
“I started designing my own-shirts and people around me got curious about my design, this inspired me to make a small sample to see if people will buy them, little did I know that the demand for the t-shits will blow this much,” she said.
Both men and women can rock the skull t-shirt, but the designs are quite different. For the men, she leaves the sleeves and the lower hem stitch, and for the ladies to add a unique significance she lets it drape to create a flawless shape of the skull.
Anwar added that she just uses a plain t-shirt and designs the head of the skull with rubbles and gashes of the t-shirt to create the exclusive design.
For many who believe that they are usually dark in colour and tone, these skull t-shirts come in a wide variety of shades and hues, allowing you to show off some real colour when you wear them.
So, if you want to show off some deathly, gothic style, you will want to pick up one of the dark yet awesome skull t-shirts created by Rhodes-Skull Swag. ENDS
