15 Dec 2014

After taking a break from music for more than four years, Mmoloki Godzamaphela, popularly known as Star Luu has finally released his album called Noluntu.

The 10 plus two bonus tracks album is an urban flavour genre, which is a fusion of African soul and Afro-Pop laced on African drums. He expresses himself in Zulu, Setswana and Lingala and was recorded and produced at Bon Fella Records in Francistown.

The title track Noluntu, which is a love song and is already enjoying a lot of airplay in local radio stations, was programmed by Oskid and he expresses the love for his girlfriend in the midst of jealousies and fallacies.

Furthermore, track three Bootilicious is a medium pitch instrumental without lyrics, which can give music fanatics the chance to showcase their dancing skills.

Its rhythm can be enjoyed during weddings or any other formal social celebrations, however the most enticing is track six called Africa’s No 1 Godzamaphela, which is an Afro soul where the artiste showcases his musical talents and compares himself to none in the music industry.

In addition, the whole album is a love story where the artiste’s expresses affection and care for the females and it can be listened to by people from all walks of life.

Track 10 and 11 divert from urban flavour and are a Kwaito and Motswako laced on traditional song chorus.

His lyrics are hilarious and cater for the legion of his fans.

The album, which was carefully and professionally recorded and mastered falls in the same category as Nigerian superstars Davido and P-Square and can be competitive on the international market. ENDS
