Zeus Mi Casa sets Botswana Craft alight
09 Nov 2014
South African house band, Mi Casa recently brought the roof down with a sizzling performance at BotswanaCraft .
The event, popularly known as Mascom Live Sessions, started off with the sounds of Game ‘Zeus’ Bantsi. The award winning muso however was not on top of his game as he looked a bit sluggish.
Not taking anything away from him, Zeus is a talented performer and he could have done a lot better on the night and he needs to spice up his routine as his schedule on stage is starting to get a bit too predictable. Either way, patrons still appreciated his effort and sang along with him.
Dj Kuchi then hit the stage and did his set to keep music lovers on their toes, but the night belonged to Mi Casa. When the trio did take to the stage along with other band mates, they literally had the crowd.
J’Something, Mi Casa’s lead singer was the star of the night as he did his provocative dance antics much to the delight of the females in the crowd. And when he sang some songs in what seemed to be either Xhosa or Zulu, ladies seemed to melt at his very sight.
Mi Casa were truly amazing on the night and it is no surprise that they are greatly loved in this country. Patrons got their money’s worth on the night and with the year coming to a close, one cannot wait to see what next year’s Mascom Live Sessions line -up will look like. ENDS
