As the year is slowly, but surely drawing to a close and summer starting to kick into high gear, patrons will this Saturday enjoy a Bacardi Summer Bash hosted by Rhapsody at Airport Junction Mall.

Speaking in an interview, Kgomotso Molefe, account executive at Rolling Stone and organiser of the event said the aim of the event was to celebrate the return of summer. “Night life has a tendency to dim down in winter and what a better way to welcome back warm weather than doing fun things like food, drinks, music and good company,” she said.

She said the evening’s entertainment will be dished out by Dj Homie and he will ensure that the dance floor is never empty. “We will also have flair bartenders to captivate the audience with their amazing bartending skills,” she said, adding that there will also be competitions throughout the night for patrons.

Speaking on how the event will benefit the local entertainment industry, Molefe said Dj Homie is a local act and as such they are promoting local talent. “He will surely pull a crowd and also some of his entertainment buddies who in turn can forge relations with us for future endeavors,” she said.

She indicated that they are making major changes at the venue to make it look unique for the event and would like to ensure that everyone who attends can have a good night out.

“Tickets go for P185 per person and it includes snacks and cocktails and also the dress code is all white,” she said.  With winter finally over and people getting into the festive mood, Saturday will surely do well to a lot of people who will want to unwind and have a chilled time.

Gates are slated to open at 6pm till late and security has been engaged to keep and make patrons feel safe. ENDS
