Mmasechaba Performing Arts Foundation (MPAF) aims at cultivating, nurturing and refining talent from an early age of five years.
The foundation chief executive officer Modisaotsile Moduke said this on Saturday, November 1 during the launch of the foundation in Ramotswa. Moduke said that they were targeting children from the age of five to 25 years old, adding that other age groups had been catered for in the aerobics.
He said that he found it imperative and inevitable to come up with an organisation of such nature in order to assist the South East District council and the government by involving the youth in activities that would benefit them.
“This is one activity which will benefit the youths in their health, enhanced physical development and keep them away from being idle and doing negative things,” he said. Mmasechaba Performing Arts Foundation has no sponsors, hence their plan to find potential sponsors.
He encouraged Balete to come for training and bring their families, noting that fitness is not about money but health. For her part, a member of MPAF, Ms Kemmonye Sejo also encouraged Ramotswa residents to keep healthy by visiting the gym.
She said that an individual does not have to use pills to be fit adding that physical training is the best way to maintain fitness. For his part, Mr James Tamora of James Boot Camp in Molepolole encouraged MPAF to have health presentations at least once a week to encourage healthy diets. ENDS
