Oliver ‘Tuku’ Mtukudzi on Friday, October 10 proved that age is nothing but just a number when he dished out songs and danced the night away at the Mascom Live Sessions.

With BotswanaCraft filled to capacity and tickets sold out, the Zimbabwean guitarist maestro made it his night. 

In his 60s, the man does not seem to age as he danced the night away and reminded everyone why he is a legend in his own right.

Mtukudzi has been a bit scarce from the entertainment scene for a while and what a way to mark his comeback to Botswana having last performed here two years ago.

The night was started off by Culture Spears, who took fans down memory lane with the hit tracks among them Kulenyane and Khudu.

Culture Spears has not released anyalbum recently and fans were clearly happy to see them on stage.

It seemed like just yesterday when the group broke into the musical scene and flipped the traditional genre on its head

The night however belonged to Mtukudzi, and he played his heart out. 

As always, Mascom Live Sessions and Botswanacraft did not disappoint with the night of entertainment.

People came in droves to support and enjoy performances from their favourite artistes.

It was an awesome event and one cannot wait for the next edition of the Mascon Live Sessions and their undeniable dedication to promote local music partnering with well renowned artists. ENDS
