BotswanaCraft was on September 19 packed to the rafters as South African legendary Afro-Jazz sensation Ringo Madlingozi made his long awaited return to Botswana to dazzle music fans.

With the show kicking off with the trio of Shanti-Lo, Nnunu Ramogotsi and Kearoma Rantao to an already packed venue, it was truly evident that music is loved and the artistes were well appreciated.

Also with their impending Sweden and Germany tour, the jazz trio made sure to serenade Batswana and assured them that they will not disappoint as they look to broaden their horizons overseas.

It must be said that Shanti-Lo, Nnunu and Kearoma are just in a class of their own, and not only do they have angelic voices, but also have outfits to match their super God given talent. Appearance is everything and they nailed it with their stunning outfits.

With the show also selling the trio’s CDs and merchandise to raise funds for their trip, Batswana did not disappoint as they bought the CDs and merchandise to further show their support.

As the night crawled in, the time for Ringo came and when he came on stage the crowd erupted with cheers and gave him standing ovation.

Ringo took everything in his stride and showed everyone that he had not lost his beat and rhythm.

Clad in his trademark traditional attire, he sang his heart out and danced the night away much to the appreciation of his followers.

It also must be said that Ringo has a huge following in Botswana and he surely does know it as he mentioned in between his songs.

The live bands of both performances were also on point and treated everyone to proper sound beats to go with the amazing vocals on show.

The show was organised by Barclays @ Play which is a social club for Barclays Bank Botswana employees and StreetThorn Promotions and they sure over did themselves.

The execution and professionalism wastop notch and the show went on without any incident. ENDS
