South African musical group, Freshlyground dazzled fans at BotswanaCraft as they put up a magnificent performance on September 5.

Having missed the opportunity to perform early this year at the Hamptons Jazz Festival still in Gaborone, the group made up for it in style. With ATI as the opening act for the group, the young lad made sure to remind everyone that he was where he was because of hard work.

Having recently wriggled his way out of a legal tussle, ATI’s music was well received and appreciated by fans and it was evident that they were familiar with his music.

When Freshlyground did take to the stage, music lovers stood up and converged closer to the stage to soak in the tunes being belted out. The mood was right and the crowd was perfect and not your usual filled to capacity type of show.

Clad in a black dress, the lead singer of Freshlyground, Xolani sang her heart out and had the crowd singing along with her. Freshlyground is surely popular in Botswana and the crowd appreciated that indeed this time they did manage to make the trip to Botswana.

People will surely be looking forward to when they will come back again to Botswana for their next performance because they are loved here. ENDS
