Fine Promotions will host first annual event called Maun Spring Fest, which is intended to promote tourism and diversify the economy on August 30 at Sakaumba Farm where most of Maun festivals are normally held.

The event is intended for businesses that operate in Ngamiland to connect with their target market in order to grow sales and brand awareness, loyalty and revenue in the capital of Botswana Tourism.

Founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Fine Promotions, Tumisang Bogwasi said Maun Spring Fest 2014 will be first for the annual event and their vision is to build a platform that has a positive impact on the culture and economy of Ngamiland.

Bogwasi added that the mission of the project is to host an event that will showcase the beauty of Maun and Ngamiland as a whole.

He further said the event aims at bringing an innovative approach to such events by celebrating the history and modern culture of Ngamiland through activities such as beach soccer, hot air balloon rides, motor bike stunts and a donkey race.

Bogwasi added that they intend to grow the event to rival well known events such as the Vodacom Durban July and the J&B Meet in neighbouring South Africa. Ends
