Police have arrested three men aged between 25 and 30 years in connection with car theft in Kanye recently.

According to Kanye Police Station Commander, Superintendent Kealositswe Konyana the police arrested the suspects around Mogoditshane where the vehicle was found abandoned.

Superintendent Konyana said the three men are suspected to have stolen a Toyota Hilux, 4x2 while parked near CNC butchery in the evening in Kanye. 

He explained that the owner reported the matter after misplacing the keys and later found that the car was not where it was parked.

In another incident, Superintendent Konyana said Motor World garage also in Kanye was broken into and money amounting to P1 600 was stolen. 

He stated that they are suspecting that the same three car theft suspects who stole the car were involved. Ends
