A local entertainment company, BP Implements has upped the ante in the local entertainment industry. 

For the first time ever, legendary RnB crooner Kenny Lattimore will perform in Botswana, at Boipuso Hall, on July 26.

BP Implements managing director, Kgosietsile Mariri said he has long dreamt about bringing an artist of Mr Lattimore’s calibre to Botswana. He hailed Kenny Lattimore as one of the most successful and talented RnB singers of the nineties, who also boasts of a very clean reputation.

“Music is my first love and it is an honour for me to be able to present Kenny Lattimore to Batswana. This will be a once in a lifetime show, with quality sound and a live band,” he said.

He also explained that the event is targeted for a mature audience that appreciates high quality entertainment. He said Kenny Lattimore enjoys a huge following in Botswana because locals just love RnB, especially from the nineties. 

He described his music as classic and timeless and also revealed that the show will have an intimate setting that will allow revellers to fully enjoy the live band. 

The line-up will include soulful song bird Samantha Mogwe, Shanti Lo and South African artist Siphokazi.

Kenny Lattimore, a singer and a song writer, will serenade R&B music lovers with some of his all-time favourite classics such as “Never too busy” and “For you”. 

He will also give his fans a taste of a few songs from his latest album, “Being the one” which will be released in August 2014.
