Kasane revellers were serenaded by melodies of My Star top three contestants on Saturday, June 28.

Residents did not disappoint as they came in large numbers to be the second town to see the top three: Tshego, Boikanyo and Peter.

Even though the show started a little late, revellers were not complaining as the children entertained them with their dance moves. Two children were chosen among the others as the winners who will represent Kasane at the grand finale this coming Friday.

The man behind the show, Keabetswe ‘Master Dee’ Sesinyi thanked the residents and show fans for their support, saying the show was what it was because of them. 

He said although the show will be broadcast on Btv, the locals still attended the show, proving that they supported it. Sesinyi said they would be back to Kasane in not too distant a time and advised those who wanted to join the competition next year to start preparing. 

Tshego was a marvel to watch with her big voice and Peter, who seemed to be the favourite of the residents, did not disappoint as the whole crowd was on their feet cheering his performance. The last performer was Boikanyo, who was also loved by the crowd.

An addition to the performers was Kasane`s own star, Elnny, who was eliminated at the top seven, and the residents were thrilled to see her performing.

Obakeng also performed and it appeared that he was still a favourite as the crowd asked for more from him, while the My Star 2013 winner, Tebogo, also performed a song from his album, which the crowd was happy with as well. ENDS
