Mochudi police probe murder suicide

Mochudi police are investigating an incident in which a 23-year-old woman was killed and a man committed suicide on June 10.
In an interview, station commander, Superintendent Olebile Sitale said the incident took place at Phataname cattle post, a few kilometres from Mochudi.
He said initially the case was reported as abduction because the man believed to be around the age of 40 took the woman and disappeared with her into the bush.
He explained that during the police search, they found the woman lying motionless on the ground and a distance away the man was found hanging.
Superintendent Sitale stated that the woman was hired as a maid while the man worked as a herd boy, adding that the two originated from Letlhakane village. ENDS
