Employee faces theft charges

An assistant accountant at Moshupa Senior Secondary School, Boingotlo Makobo, has pleaded not guilty to a single count of stealing P27 642 from her employer.
According to particulars of the offence, the 46-year old Makobo of Moshupa, between November 11, 2010 and January 21, 2011 at Moshupa Senior Secondary School, being a person employed in the public service allegedly stole P27 642 being the state property.
Boingotlo appeared before Magistrate Bosele Busang who scheduled trial date for July 11. Mr Victor Chabanga from Directorate of Public Prosecution prosecuted while the accused appeared in person. ENDS
