Revellers welcome winter in style

Duma FM grounds will be thronged by entertainers as it welcomes winter in style on April 12.
The line-up comprises South African artists Uhuru, Heavy K and the Pro Twerkers.,Some of the best local acts will also take to the stage to help Batswana turn the heat up as they brace for the coming cold winter nights.
The show promises to be yet another exciting extravaganza, especially with an impressive line-up which includes the likes of DJs Fondo Fire, Phazz, Chrispin- The Drummer, Phouboy, Kellz and Goveya.
The five ladies of the Pro Twerkers were sure to be one of the highlights of the day, with the popular dance style having recently developed quite a following both locally and internationally.
In addition, Botswana would be lyrically represented by one of its local superstars, Vee, who has just released a sensational gospel album. The show promises to be a spectacular, and a very big event preceding the winter season.
It will at hosted at Duma Grounds and kicks-off at 3 p.m on Saturday April 12. Red Carpet Events owner, Miss Gertrude Muringi mentioned that, “Red Carpet Events is proud to be able to put together an event of this caliber.”
“Being a Motswana myself, I am extremely proud of how far we have come since the good old days of Monate Sukiri shows. It is always great to have the support of artists from South Africa, as we at Red Carpet Events believe that both countries have a lot to share with each other on a musical front” she says.
The lineup includes renowned South African artists Heavy K and Uhuru who received the two most coveted awards at the 13th Metro FM Awards in March 2014.
The two are expected to turn up the heat during their performances. Revelers are encouraged to come in large numbers and the event tickets sell at P150. Ends
