Police arrest robbery suspects

Gaborone police are investigating a case in which two suspected robbers were shot before being arrested by the police.
Botswana Police Service public relations officer, Asssitant Commissioner Christopher Mbulawa said the suspects, both Batswana nationals aged 22 and 32 years, along with two others who were still at large stormed into a Broadhurst supermarket, opened fire before stealing over P16 000 cash and fleeing in a motor vehicle.
He said one of the suspects was hospitalised at a local hospital with serious injuries while the other was treated and discharged.
Meanwhile, police are looking for Joseph Gaeye and Oteng Tebatso Phuluweni, both of Mathangwane in the Central District to assist them with further investigations. Ends
