Puma Energy to re-construct filling station
24 Mar 2014
Puma Energy has announced plans to invest P10 million to convert its Bonnington Filling Station into a new upscale fuelling hub on the Gaborone/Molepolole highway.
“Construction work has already begun and this project involves replacing the existing structure and underground tanks with a modern, well lit, well signed filling station which will include our Super7 convenience store which will be open 24 hours a day,” said Puma Energy retail manager, Mr Dickson Nyepi.
“This week saw the beginning of preparations for demolition of the existing facility and commencement of the new building work that will take about six months to complete.
This is our effort and commitment to providing our customers with the right product in the right place with great service,” he said. The new filling station was designed for easy access by motorists and will include six fuelling bays.
Located next to the Grand Palm, a five-star hotel and conference centre, the project would be expected to accommodate and benefit the growing economy of the Bonnington area as well as the Gaborone/Molepolole highway users.
“Other Bonnington mall tenants and customers will also benefit from our investment, particularly as our larger fuel storage tanks will ensure reliable supply,” said Mr Nyepi.
The new development underscores Puma’s commitment to ensuring customers have access to safe, reliable and friendly service at its filling stations across the country. Ends
